Mobile Core Network Security Assessment Models And Methods

As mobile technology and network structure continues to develop, the pressure of mobile networks become more and more big. On the one hand the mobile networks structure become more complex and threat of network is much larger than before. On the other hand as the increasing scale of business development, users are becoming increasingly dependent on the mobile networks. But as a core part of mobile networks, mobile core network security becomes particularly important.This paper aims to explore a comprehensive and reasonable "mobile core network security assessment models and methods" in order to achieve a comprehensive assessment of the local network as the unit of the mobile core network security index. At the same time for the purpose to detect and reduce the risk of network security. This paper from the maximum to ensure the safety and efficiency of mobile network operation and the user perceived quality of mobile service, defined the content of mobile core network security as:In normal traffic model it can withstand the invasion of a variety of threats without the user business impact; under the impact of big business it can selectively discarded part of the network business, while endeavour to ensure mobile users'service in basic business flow; In a catastrophic event occurs, it can quickly and effectively robbed the classification of user-pass operations for the disaster mitigation services. The main contents are as follows:1. This paper divided the safety of mobile core network into four parts:physical, logical, business and management, which build a comprehensive system security evaluation index system, meanwhile made sure the project evaluation criteria and measures for risk reduction.2. This paper from an application point of view, giving consideration to its scientific rationality, presented a "mobile core network security assessment model and method." for operator-house staff.3. This paper made an analysis on the technologies that can not be solved so far such as the right to copy card, fake caller, and comprehensive analyzing an integrated network management and signaling monitoring system to give the measures to reduce such risks.4.Finally, this paper summarized the research work done by the study, and presented future work prospects and future research directions.
