With the fast developing automatI/On level of the coal digging work face, the control of the digging equipments has evolved from the single switch to the integrated control center. The integrated control center is composed of a number of multi-functI/Onal switches. It is a highly reliable, centralized intelligent controller. The main equipments it can control includes: scraper conveyor, belt conveyor, tunneling machines, scheduling and other explosI/On-proof electrical equipments. It can not only realize the sequencial control of multiple single-speed motors, but also realize the switching of the two-speed motors. As an example, the mechanized digging work face of Yanzhou Mining Group is introduced in this thesis.The following topics has been discussed in this thesis: Based on the the characteristics of digging work face electrical equipments and using the Siemens S7-200 PLC and field bus technology, the electrical protectI/On functI/On of the control center is realized and the friendly user interface is provided. Based on the practical experience, the varI/Ous protectI/On algorithms are optimized. Through the sampling of control equipment current, voltage, power, leakage current, the functI/On of over-current protectI/On, short circuit protectI/On, leakage latch, leakage protectI/On, latch-off phase and phase protectI/On and phase imbalance protectI/On is realized. Using the field bus, real-time control of the control center and mine monitoring system is achieved. Thus, the efficient and realiable control of the diggging work face electronic equipments is realized. Through the self-diagnostic technology, the detailed technical parameters are provided in real-time.This research has been field-tested. The results satisfy the required technical specificatI/Ons. This research ensures the reliable running of the mechanized excavatI/On work face.
