Crystal Growth Furnace in space is a experiment instrument which is used to grow crystals under microgravity conditions. Temperature gradient,temperature precision and temperature stability in the furnace are necessary conditions for growing high quality crystals successfully. Controlling temperature accurately is the most important factors for growing high quality crystals. The Software Package for Space Crystal Growth Furnace controls furnace temperature accurately by using PID control algorithm At the same time, it is the first time to apply predictive control DMC algorithm effectively and efficiently.The function of the software includes system setting module, data-sampling and system monitoring module, system identification experiment module, model parameter identification module, PID parameter tuning module, PID simulation module, PID control experiment module, predictive control simulation module, predictive control experiment module and other related functions.Firstly, this paper introduces the project background of crystal growth furnace in space. Secondly, the basic principle,powerful functionality,attractive features are discussed in details. In the requirement analysis, the context of system development,internal structure and module division are described and functional requirements based on use case are discussed in details. In the design of each module, this paper introduces the process of the design for each module. Finally, experiments show the project research results. The application of this software shows its effectiveness.
