Nowadays, the production of all kinds of weapons and equipments depend greatly on the electronic technology, which is also widely applied in the modern warfare. Through the control of the information carried by the electromagnetic spectrum, the odds are stacked in favor of the participant who acquires this information in an asymmetric warfare. Thus, the electronic technology plays a more and more vital role in various fields. As the critical data sensor, radar can not only capture the important parameter information, it also can conduct the rational allocation of the weapon system. Thus, the radar jamming also plays an important part in the electronic warfare. With the development and refinement of the radar theory, many new types of radar have come into being during recent decades. Most of these new-type radars all tend to use various anti-jamming techniques, such as matched receiving and related processing, which greatly increase the efficiency of target-detection by radar. Meanwhile, the requirement of the radar technology on active-jamming has been elevated to a quite high level. The broad pulse emission and narrow pulse reception are adopted by the linear frequency modulation (LFM) pulse compression radar, considering both of radar's detection range and resolution efficiency. Thus, the study on the LFM radar based on the active-jamming technology is representative and has highly theoretical and practical value. In this thesis, through the simulation analysis based on the reduction, the research is conducted to study the LFM radar interfering range and noise suppression interference in exposed jamming area. The steps are as follows:⑴The basic operational principles, typical working processes and the application in the interference of digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) will be introduced; the analysis on the indicators for measuring the performance of DRFM will be conducted.⑵To further study the time-domain characteristics of LFM signals, the operation of pulse compression signals, the thesis also conducts the qualitative and quantitative analysis on the output signals after being compressed. ⑶The sensitivity of the LFM signal parameters and the curve on decreasing performance when the parameters change will be analyzed. Take the front copy overlap pulse signal and the convolution cycle narrow pulse interference signal as an example to discuss the interfering effect of these two signals applied in radar system and the parameter selection. The dynamic jamming process based on the LFM radar is proposed.⑷The jamming exposed range will be deduced by the Linear Frequency Modulation Pulse Compression Radar to study the effect on the minimum jamming range caused by different jamming power, the formation trends of jamming exposed range also will be discussed.
