With the continuous development of the network technology, the network is changing our ways of life comprehensively. For example, the network has been ubiquitous to our daily life, so the food and beverage industry has to be changed to cater for the network development.As we know, the network has enriched the ways of service of the restaurant industry. The dish-ordering system is the one of the intimate services which is offered by the network to our clients among the remote area.For the food service industry in colleges and universities in, its main customers includes the students as well as the teaching staff. Generally speaking, each customer has a personal computer or office computer, so when the dining time comes, the cheap and fast food-ordering service then becomes very efficient.To reach the purpose, the author has developed a dishing-ordering system for colleges and Universities based on B/S structure.This paper discusses the fundamental design of the system, the basic module and finally makes out a conclusion-a practical, customer-oriented dish-ordering system for colleges and universities. The system uses the integrated development environment of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1 by the Windows platform. And its website development language is ASP.NET + C #, its backstage database is SQL Server 2005. This paper is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is an introduction to the project background, trend of the domestic and foreign research and its research value; The second chapter is an introduction to the process how to use the NET-related technologies; The third chapter is an introduction to the analysis of system requirements and the need to the function of the system; The fourth chapter is an introduction to the detailed design of the system; The fifth chapter is an introduction to the system code and its implementation; The sixth chapter is an introduction to the system testing and release; The last chapter is a comprehensive conclusion of paper-writing and its system design.
