In today's information age, the network Increasingly well-developed and The world increasingly becomes smaller, Information explosive growth has led to an multiplied explosion of data. Data has become the most valuable thing of modern enterprises and public institution. Once the data is lost, tremendous loss of irretrievable might be brought to enterprises and public institution. People come up with a series of methods to protect the current data to prevent accidental loss of or damage to data. In order to maximize data protection, there are still other places to save data to a copy of one or more sub. Judging from the current situation of the development of storage technology, the establishment of a set of remote disaster recovery, backup system are more suitable options.A simple single storage array is impossible to constitute a complete set of remote disaster recovery, backup systems, must take advantage of the physical channel(Such as: FC Fiber Channel, ISCSI Internet Small Computer System Interface) to enable local and off-site storage arrays connected to and able to communicate with each other,this is a prerequisite for a complete set of remote disaster recovery ,backup system. At present, because domestic enterprises have not yet fully manufacture a disk array with remote disaster recovery, backup capacity, most enterprises and public institution can only import more expensive Storage products. So, it has both scientific and economic value to research and development disk arrays with disaster recovery, backup capabilities.In view of researching and analyzing of disk array technology, network storage technology, disaster recovery backup technology, this thesis designs and realizes a Array Path and Lun modules of SAN-oriented storage system, called"APL"for short. It describes structure of Array Path and Lun modules and the detailed implementation of various sub-module, Presented a detailed description of the link management, external Lun management, I / O to send, the user message handling.The organization of this paper as follows: Chapter one about the background of thesis, sources of topic, analysis of the current situation of the project at home and abroad, main work of this thesis; Chapter two, Introduce basic knowledge of storage and the current mainstream memory technology, overview of SAN; Chapter Three detailed introduction about OS 9000 storage systems; Chapter four, designs and realizes a Array Path and Lun modules of SAN-oriented storage system;Chapter five, functional and performance testing. Chapter VI, sum up.Specifically,the work of this thesis is as follows:1. designs and realizes a Array Path and Lun modules of SAN-oriented storage system.2. Research and analysis of a variety of storage technologies,including:data backup,remote disaster recovery,network storage technology.
