Wireless sensor network is a multi-hop self-organization network, which is composed of a large number of tiny sensor nodes, and communication by wireless way. WSN is being deployed for a wide variety of applications, including military, explosion-proof, natural calamities, patient monitoring, manufacturing industry, and many other areas. The energy of sensor nodes is limited. And it's difficult to replace the battery or supplement energy. Therefore, research on high throughput, low delay, energy saving of WSN MAC protocol is particularly important. The object of study is wireless sensor network MAC protocol, through literature study, analysis of several kinds of typical MAC protocols, summarize the principle of typical MAC protocols. Carefully studied ALOHA multi-access technologies, CSMA multi-access technologies, multi-channel random multi-access technologies and the expansion of random multi-access. Current research on the MAC protocol is how to reduce conflict, improve throughput, reduce energy consumption, reduce delay and extend node life cycle, etc.Under the guidance of tutor , in chapter III"probability detection and nonpersistent for random multi-access"was put forward in this paper. Divided transfer period TP (1 + a) into two parts, including packet transmission time and delay time. Packet transmission time is"1"and delay time is"a". Using p detection approach to the packets that arrived in time1 and nonpersistent approach to the packets that arrived in time a. The probability of sustained detective channel for the packets that arrived in time1 is p, and 1-p is the probability of give up detective channel. Different probability p can dynamically control dormancy node. After classify the events of packet successfully, packet collision and free. Build system model, mathematical model based on the principle of protocol. Through mathematical analysis, get the average length of packet successfully, packet collision and free. According to the method of average cycle analysis that putted forward by tutor, finally, the throughput, delay and life cycle of multi-access MAC protocol that based on probability detection and nonpersistent was calculated. The computer simulation is carried out to verify the theoretical. If the network to send long frame, improvement protocol for multi-access was putted forward in chapter IV. Reference the thought of"While sending, detection", if the packet collisions occur, immediately stop sending. Therefore, the time of collisions can be shorten. And further improve throughput, reduce the delay. Theory analysis and simulation experiments were done with the same method in chapter III.
