As a new application of web2.0, Social Networking Sites develop fast in recent years. From the election victory of the USA president Obama to Iran twitter revolution, the SNS has left a deep expression on information transmission and interaction, which also extend from entertainment and business affairs to political issues.Compared with the usage in other countries, Chinese SNS starts late. In 2008, China received the first upsurge of SNS usage which was from the "plant-stealing" games. It created the mode of "friends+games" which could not stand out the key function of SNS. Recently, another functional module named "Zhuan Tie" (meaning sharing fresh events) which is aimed to share information has replaced the games to become the newly most popular function. The conversion from games to information sharing indicates that Chinese SNS usage has become more deeply socialized which also means more interactional among the interpersonal, the institution and the society.The thesis starts the Chinese SNS usages research with users, the online relationship and online interaction by an interview with 30 Chinese SNS users, which is aimed to explore the deeper interactive preference, communicational strategy and relationship construction during the SNS application. In this process, a research report released by CNNIC is referred to.It finds out that SNS mainly satisfied the need of making-friends, entertainment and obtaining information. Its usage is characterized as 'juvenile','amusing'and'limited relationship'. And the online interaction has not formed unique and definite mode but developed with the usage degree changes.On the basis of the research above, it also analyzed the reasons of the SNS Chinese usage status quo. It argues that there are two aspects needing we pay more attention to which are the limitation of relationship extending and the abuse of entertainment functions. In my opinion, this is not only related to the inner communication mechanism of SNS, but also to the Chinese culture context, political context and social context. That is, the SNS Chinese usage is a combined action of social and cultural context, interpersonal context and cognition context under the whole Chinese context.In the end, it discussed SNS's social influence in the process during its Chinese dissemination .What's more, it also made a forecast of its further development in the future whose possible mode is "relationship+ information."...
