Based On The Asp's Enrollment Management System Design And Implementation

Student status is a crucial part of college management, and grades management turns to be a most important and complicated task of the information system. It's imperative for us to set up corresponding archives for every student in every school, epitomizing the complexity and the self-explanatory importance of student management. With the further reform of college education regime, the current grades management system seems inept vis-a-vis the ever-growing students and curriculum settings. Hence, this paper aims to develop a'Student Grades Management System'so as to grasp the status quo of student management and present a computerized information management platform.This thesis concentrates on the applications of ASP technology and Ado database access module in grades management system. First, it carries out in-depth research on B/S 3-layer structure, SQL Server, distributive database technology and ASP. Then it makes analysis in the aspects of requirement and functional characteristics, including overall data management, coordination of data transmission between various sub-databases as well as the weak consistency of data. A fully replicated data structure is applied to system database, and local data is stacked as per horizontal fragmentation. We also explicate the functional design of the distributive multi-database for student status management, the infrastructure of database table as well as the scheme of work flow model, data transmission and interface, and the overall structure of the system. At last, we adopt .NET and Microsoft's SQL Server 2000 to set up background database, and at the same time, scrutinize and design various business modules of the system.Through a series of tests at YiChun Vocational School , this user-friendly system proves to be qualified for information management. Full-fledged as it is, the system bound to be a rapid, safe and cost-effective information outlet.
