Abstract/Summary:
With the improvement of computer science and communication technology, the modern mobile communication entire enters the third generation mobile communication. 3G provides high speed data transfer rate for mobile device. But this transfer rate is not enough for many fashion internet applications. For this reason, 3GPP started a research on next generation mobile communication many years ago. At last, 3GPP brought out Long Term Evolution as the solution and evolution to next generation mobile communication. In LTE, OFDMA and MIMO is the core technology of physical layer. With 20MHz system bandwidth, LTE can provide 100Mbps peak data transfer rate in downlink and 50Mbps peak data transfer rate in downlink.Uplink synchronization technology is an important part in mobile communication. The result of uplink synchronization will affect the uplink channel performance and capacity. This paper researches LTE uplink synchronization technology and its implementation on DSP.Introduce the basic concept of LTE physical layer. Include frame structure, OFDMA, SC-FDMA, LTE physical layer resource and the division of each channel.Research the basic property of LTE uplink synchronization technology. The research includes the property of Zadoff-Chu sequences and uplink synchronization preamble. Based on the previous work, design a basic uplink synchronization preamble receiver. Do improvement aimed at reducing the complexity of system implementation and improving the time accuracy in synchronization. Research the impact of the frequency offset in uplink synchronization and the way to solve it.Construct uplink synchronization simulation model with MATLAB. Verify the research result with this model. Test the performance of the receiver. Implement the uplink synchronization receiver on MSC8156 DSP. Verify the DSP program on MSC8156 with MATLAB simulation model. At last test the performance of the receiver on MSC8156 DSP.
