In recent years, as the rapid development of Internet streaming media live system widely used, the traditional streaming media system mainly adopt C/S mode,because of the limit of the server's capability,it can't meet the large-scale live application.Media streaming over P2P network can fully use the network resource,balance network load effectively and solve the problem of the traditional streaming media system,thus it becomes a hot research topic.This dissertation introduces related technologies and background of P2P and streaming media firstly.Then it introduce the knowledge of P2P networks and streaming media which provide the solid theoretical foundation for the practice. It discusses several international existing live models of streaming media based on P2P network and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of them.The above related work is very valuable to the design of my P2P streaming media live system.It focuses on the service quality of P2P streaming media live system which include measure standard of service quality and main ways to improve the service quality of P2P live streaming system.It completes the summary design of P2P streaming media live system which include streming media sever,peer manage sever and client.The function of them are describe in this part.It completes the detail design of the P2P streaming media live system and describe the module of system in detail. The theory and key technology which include peer manage,buffer manage and data schedule are described in this part.It implement the P2P streaming media live system,introduces the work process of the system module which include streaming media manage,peer manage,member -partner manage,buffer manage ,data schedule and network communicate in detail.The class graph , core algorithms and main function implement of every module are described in this part at the same time. Finally, The system is tested in LAN network. The performance of system is tested by simulation use PeerSim.The system runs well and can provide good live service. It achieve the goal of the system design.
