WSN(Wierless Sensor Networks),which is made by the convergence of sensor, embeded computation, networks and wireless communication technologies, is a novel technology about acquiring and processing information.WSN have the ability to collaboratively monitoring, sensing, colleeting and processing information of the physical world through Ad-hoc deployment of numerous tiny, intelligent, wirelessly networked sensor nodes.Potential applications of such sensor networks span many domains: military surveillance, environmental monitoring, smart spaces physiological monitoring, precision agriculture, transportation and industrial manufacturing. Node localization is one of important technologis in wireless sensor networks. The study of node localization algorithm in wireless sensor networks is very important. The thesis is focused on the localization algorithms in wireless sensor networks. The main work is reflected by the following four aspects:1. Several common distributed localization algorithms are studied. The DV-hop localization algorithm is analysised in detail. The shortcomings of the traditional DV-hop distributed localization algorithm in the calculation of number of hops between anchor and unknown nodes are pointed out and improved.2. The MpZBeeV1.0-3.8 protocol stack is transplanted to 32-bit Linux operating system successfully after understanding of relevant hardware platform.Main work is focused on GPIO SPI simulation, dynamic memory allocation,stack-tasking scheduling and other respects related to the hardware platform.3. A simple wireless location system is implemented on Linux with C programming language when the traditional DV-hop localization algorithm and improved DV-hop localization algorithm are used in the transplanted stack. The simulation of the experimental results prove the positioning accuracy is improved by the improved DV-hop localization algorithm.4. The communication and positioning functions of the wireless location system are tested by example, and the results are analysised.
