Jinzhong Teachers College Student Achievement Management System Design And Implementation

With the rapid innovation of science technology, the computers play more and more important role in all areas in society, especially in schools. In recent years the universities have been greatly expanded in size, the number of students of the school has doubled and as a result, the information of students has multiplied. How to efficiently and promptly manage the students'information is the overwhelming problem of the school administration department in order to meet the demand of accuracy and standardization of student information management.The student performance management system of Jin Zhong Teachers' College is a typical Management Information Systems (MIS). The development of system is composed of two parts: the establishment and maintenances of backend databases and the development of front-end application programs. It is critical to establish the data consistency, data integrality and the database security regarding the database whereas the application programs must be fully functional and easy to use. The system development tool is DELPHI7.0 which offers a lot of object-oriented tools such as DataWindow to manipulate the smart object easily. The system development could be divided into three steps as following: first, establishing system prototype through detailed science investigations and researches in a short period of time; second, executing iterative requirements for initial prototype; at last, carrying on system testing. The system testing consist of module functional testing and overall functional testing, which wouldn't be terminated until the student performance management system is formed to meet the user's requirements of Jin Zhong Teachers' College.
