Computer tomography is commonly used in the field of medical imaging methods. In order to provide more intuitive three-dimensional information on the human heart, the heart CT image visualization of medical image analysis is a focused research problem. In this paper, according to the characteristics of heart shape and slice data, a general method of heart surface triangulation mesh reconstruction was studied and designed, and then the triangular mesh of heart surface was simplified, which achieve the triangular mesh reconstruction for slice data of left ventricular contour.This paper describes the basic principles and implementation process of three-dimensional reconstruction method. For the difference of data format of heart surface contours extracted by different ways, through utilizing the basic characteristics of the heart shape and slice data, a general method of heart surface triangular mesh reconstruction was studied and designed. Both of Cosine rotating and postponed sorting were combined with the three-subdivision, and recovering the relationship of contour points and reconstructing the triangular mesh were implemented synchronously. The experiment verified the effectiveness of the proposed approach. On this basis, to solve the problems of the huge amount of stored data and slow rendering caused by the large number of the triangles in mesh model, the method of considering the characteristics of triangular mesh model for the data of surface contour was proposed, which is the improved QEM method for transect contour triangular mesh. Basing on the adaption analysis of the folded edge selection, fast vertex selection and triangle shape optimization strategy were designed. The experimental results show that the method can implement simplification and optimization of triangles mesh and the basic shape of the mesh model can be kept.
