As an important class of hybrid dynamical systems, switched system is composed of several sub-systems and the switching signals among them. In the mechanical system control, automatic engine control, systems engineering, traffic control, process control field switched system has important applications. So far, more and more people have paid attention to the stability analysis of the switched systems and design for switched systems. This thesis mainly focuses on the problem of robust H∞performance analysis for discrete-time switched systems with parameter uncertainties. More specifically, the main contributions are as follows:1)A H∞filter design for uncertain discrete-time switched systems with time delayThe problem of H∞filter design for uncertain discrete-time switched systems with time delay is investigated. The obtained filter is of the Luenberger observer type, which guarantees the robust asymptotically stable of the error system with an H∞disturbance attention levelγfor any uncertainties. These conditions are delay-depended and are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the application of the proposed method.2)Robust guaranteed cost control for a class of uncertain discrete time-delay switched systemsThe problem of guaranteed cost control based on state feedback is investigated for a class of uncertain discrete time-delay switched systems. Based on the multiple Lyapunov functions method, the problem of guaranteed cost control for the switched systems with state feedback controllers is analyzed, and a sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed controllers is derived. The design problem of guaranteed cost controller based on state feedback is turn into a convex optimization problem with linear matrix inequalities constraints. An example is given to illustrate the application of the presented method.3)Design of the robust H∞output feedback controller for a class of uncertain discrete time-delay switched systems.The Robust H∞control for a class of uncertain discrete time-delay switched systems is investigated. First, the robust stability and disturbance attenuation performance for the switched systems with state feedback controllers are analyzed based on the multiple Lyapunov functions method, and the sufficient conditions for the switched systems to be robust stable with H∞disturbance attenuation is derived. All the conditions are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A numerical example with simulation results is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.
