RFID (radio frequency identification) technology is a non-contact automatic identification technology which uses radio frequency signals to achieve non-contact information transmission through space coupling, and use the message to achieve recognition. Compared with other identification, RFID technology has many advantages. With the rapid development of electronic related technologies, RFID technology, which has shown great advantages and potential in many areas, is growing very rapidly. As a key component in RFID system, antenna's design and research has become very important.The performance of antennas is the key factor to the performance of RFID system. With the rapid development of electronic technology and manufacturing technology, people have greater demands on the performance of RFID system. RFID reader antenna is the key device to improve system performance. Therefore, the domestic and foreign scholars have done wide and deep researches on the miniaturization, broadband, high-gain and other technologies of the microstrip antennas. However, improving the performance of certain parameters will cause rapid deterioration of other properties of the antenna. Therefore, we must do wide and deep researches on the performance of the antenna to meet the practical application.In this paper, based on related knowledge of RFID technology, we have done analysis and research on antenna which used in RFID system. Aiming to the three bands which used in reader antenna(13.56MHz,915MHz,2.45GHz), we have done detailed analysis and research. In this paper, we have done research mainly on designing the antenna in 915MHz band, and have done some research on designing the antenna in 2.45GHz and 13.56MHz band. In the paper, we have done analysis and research on the antenna design methods of several bands, then we know the requirement of the antenna. At the same time, we study the integrated design of the three bands.
