The fault diagnosis of hydraulic control driving system is one of the hot and difficult problems for heavy gripping device. In order to diagnos(?) the fault of hydraulic driving system efficiently, we must analyze the influence factors on hydraulic driving system and comprehensively explore the failure features.In this study, the Strong Tracking Filter(STF)is used to diagnosis the faults of synchronous hydraulic control driving system for the rotational driving system of the grippers of 250 Ton forging manipulators.1.When the mathematical model of the system is known, the fault model of the hydraulic control driving system and the method of building residual error with the filter are established and the fault detection and isolation strategies are analyzed.2.The basic principal of the strong tracking filter is introduced. The basic structure of the strong tracking filter, the prediction method, the filler function and the basic process of recursive algorithm are described.3.The fault diagnosis of the single and synchronous hydraulic control driving systems is realized with methods of strong tracking filter. The principal of the algorithm, the implementation process and the results of fault detection and islotion on various synchronous hydraulic control-driven systems are analyzed. The sensitivity, robustness and stability of the algorithm are discussed.The simulation resuits shows that the strong tracking filter is effective to diadnose hydraulic control driving systems.4.The relationship between the leakage and the stages of the hydraulic control driving systems isbuilt by experiments.Then, the Strong tracking filter is used to diagnose the leakage fault. Simulation results shows that the strong tracking filter could be used in the diagnose of the leakage fault for hydraulic control driving systems.
