With the rapid development of information technology and computer networks, the digital multimedia information's storage, reproduction and transmission has become very convenient. The problem of copyright piracy and copyright disputes has become an increasingly serious social problem. Digital watermarking is to embed specific information to the media to extract the information in a timely manner, in order to achieve copyright protection of digital media. This information can be the identity of the copyright owner specific information, the user specified symbol or serial number, etc.There are more and more database applications in network, and it is urgent for the copyright protection of database. So people research the technology of digital watermark to protect the copyright of database. The database has large number of data but little redundancy. It needs some operations normally, so it can't apply the traditional digital watermark technology to database directly. It is require studying the characters of database and watermark technology, developing a watermark mechanism to satisfy copyright protection of database. It is called database watermark technology.In order to let more people familiar with and quickly grasp the basic theory and the algorithm design process of database watermark technology, help people to understand the different robustness, transparency and other features,the design of a comprehensive experimental database digital watermarking system is a good solution.In this paper, first show the digital watermarking technology and its principles, characteristics, as well as the current status of the application. Then introduce the characteristics and structure of the relational database, technical requirements for the watermark and watermarking technology demands on the database. Then induce the platform needs analysis, feasibility analysis and he function of the system. On this basis, use java development language and JCreator development tools design a Watermarking Relational Databases for Experiment Platform. The system can complete some experiments as watermark's embedding, extracting and robustness detecting. System administrators can maintain the system; add the algorithm operation according to the system need.The experimental results show that the system can be very good completed some experiments as the watermark's embedding, extracting and robustness detecting. In addition, the system's design is clear and intuitive, simple for operating, has a very good effect in popularization.
