The Automobile braking performance is an important security indicators of driving vehicle。Developed a kind of vehicle braking performance test equipment which is easy to operate,and has programmable functions, large amount of data storage, has an important practical significance and application value.In this paper, the current vehicle braking performance test instruments are analyzed and studied, a modified optical navigation sensor is used in automotive brake performance test, it can be used to sample and process of the displacement signal of the car, the displacement data can be use to calculate the various parameters in braking performance test. So a non-contact, zero-install, easy to use vehicle brake performance tester will be developed Optical navigation sensor has been widely used in computer mouse, It has many advantages: low-cost, rich in resources of hardware and software, and the test data will be directly wirelessly uploaded to the PC platform, such as notebook computer. The software of data processing and analysis can be developed by high-level programming language, which greatly reduce the system's development and maintenance costs, the system is easy to transplant, easy to extend functionality of the new test.This paper has a detailed analysis of optical navigation sensor's optical channel transformation, and applied to the test of vehicle speed, select the relevant chips, design circuits, testing algorithms and software, right in the experiment has achieved good results. |
