The development of road traffic needs more modern and intelligent traffic management to achieve the effectiveness of the management, that is Intelligent Traffic Management System.ITMS use advanced information, communications, electronic sensing and control technologies to achieve the management, to establish real-time, accurate, efficient transport and management system. ITMS can influence the chaotic traffic conditions, reduce congestion, improve transport efficiency and traffic safety. This article discusses the intelligent of image processing system based on BF533 by the example that judgment of exceed yellow line system design and implementation.The intelligent traffic image processing system main function is to take photo and store the vehicle which is press the yellow line. This article describes the development of ITMS and system overall design include the design of hardware and software modules. The whole design has five-part:power modules. DSP processing module, memory module, real-time display and communication module. Power supply is mainly responsible for the switch between the battery and DC power; DSP processing module include image input, data processing and compression algorithms in the judgment of exceed the yellow line; Storage module summarizes data store on external memory and program memory; Real-time Display module is presented real-time image output; Communication module is use USB and serial two ways to communicate with PC. Each module are discussed in detail in hardware circuit design and debug. And discussed software design method and programming. At last, show the feasibility of this system from a practical application.
