Entrusted by Yantai Useong Electro-Mechanics CO. LTD., we exploit the turbine flow meter in water valve which this paper mainly studied. While the precision of measurement can be improved, the measuring error can be reduced by designing the microstructure of the rotating blade. This turbine flow meter has great utility value and wide application prospect. For its preparation could achieve the intention of increasing benefit.Firstly, according to the force condition of the impeller vane of turbine flow meter in water valve, the mathematical model was established.Secondly , the structure and geometric parameters of the turbine flow meter were designed based on the established mathematical model. This paper studies the turbine flow meter in water valve from the following aspects: guide vane, blade shape, blade angle, blade number, and top clearance of the impeller. After that, 3D solid model of the turbine flow meter was established with UG making the base of the latter analysis. The rotating blade of the turbine flow meter was analysised on anti-mechanical environment with the finite element analysis software COSMOSXpress.Then, to obtain the factors influencing the precision of measurement, the flow field of the flowmeter was simulated by means of the widely used CFD software FLUENT. According to the analysis results, we have make improvement of structure size of the rotating blade.Finally, the improvement suggestions about the primary design were proposed. And the flow field of the flowmeter was simulated, then the final structure of the flowmeter was determined.
