Automatic Target Coordinate Detector Communication System Design And Implementation

With the continuous development of military technology, modern warfare requires weapons systems with higher defense capabilities. Therefore, to design a more powerful and more precise automatic target coordinate tracking detector has been a development trend. Excellent communication system can improve the target coordinates tracking detector efficiency of data communication between devices. How to design a real-time, high-reliability communication system are the main contents of the thesis.Firstly, the thesis describes the significance, current status and inadequacy of issue, then gives a brief overview on working principle of automatic target coordinates tracking detector.Combined above-mentioned current situation and relevant technology of data communication, the communication system uses CAN bus network topology to build. The thesis also defines the bus information flow and data format. Each controlled element has its own CAN controller and transceiver, they can send and receive data by themselves on CAN bus.According to actual requirements, communication board uses ARM Micro-controller LPC2378 as the core controller, and extends five function interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, CAN, Modem as well as Ethernet. After designing the hardware, it writes the software drivers for each function interface. Based on these, the transparent data conversion is completed among the function interfaces. The PC control interface is designed to achieve parameter configuration and error, status display function. In the last, the results of testing each interface individually communications and protocol conversion function show that the system runs well and achieve the desired effect.This thesis provides a feasible method for the data communication among the devices with different interfaces and achieves the desired design goals.
