With the rapid development of virtual reality technology, computer-aided design is widely used in commercial, industrial, medical and other fields, to provide a perceptual and effective help for the production development. And with the continuous advancement of technology in the computer hardware and software, the clothing CAD system and related technology is bound to promote from the two-dimensional technology at the core toward the direction of three-dimensional, intelligent, network-based, and integrated development, which is a widespread academic concern and research in recent years for the scholars home and abroad.Clothing CAD technology, that is, the computer-aided fashion design technology, converged the ideas and technical experience of designers, by utilizing the strong capability of the computer calculation, makes the fashion design more scientific and efficient, offers the designer a modern tools, is an important tool for the design in the future. The three-dimensional human body model and fashion simulation technology as an important component of the Clothing CAD, is the direction of development in the field.This study focused on the following areas:(1) To establish model measurement baseline, base-point and commonly used feature size in accordance with the principle of ergonomics rules and clothing measurements, and by utilizing the three-dimensional human body model theory, and the use of NURBS surface modeling technology to portray the three-dimensional parameterized controllable human body model. The table model of the person, through a simple graphical interface, after inputting such feature sizes as height, chest, hip, will automatically display the revised model, and the effect of different aspects can be observed through different angles by rotating, and by constant adjustment we can get the satisfying results of the model, which will lay a good foundation and create favorable conditions for the next phase of research.(2) In this paper, for the efficiency of cloth modeling, the author compares the advantages and disadvantages of several modeling methods. With the analysis of the real structure and physical properties of fabrics, and the use of mass point-spring model, the author matches the properties of the structure, shearing and bending spring with that of the fabric, endows the springs with corresponding strength. With the guidance of the Newton's mechanics theory, the author gives a detailed analysis of the force in every mass point andestablishes a unified dynamic equation. By the use of numerical integration methods in solving the kinetic equation, the author analyzes and compares the efficiency and step index option of several commonly used methods of numerical integration to achieve the three-dimensional simulation of the fabric, which effectively improves the realism of the simulation results.(3) In the treatment of collisions, the paper makes a research and summarization on the various existing methods of collision detection and its response. As for the rigid colliding objects, the paper, by using the method of quick collision respond with only the adjustment of location, gives a working hypothesis and a specific plan to achieve results.
