Based On Accurate Mechanical Model And The Fdh Tree Collision Detection Algorithm Cloth Simulation Technology, | | Posted on:2009-02-10 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:D Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2208360272456209 | Subject:Computer application technology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Cloth simulation is a technology that simulates the falling and damping of clothe by the support of computer,which has a vast prospect in computer graphics.Although spring-mass model is easy to built and efficient in calculation,it is very hard to simulate the physical feature of the cloth.We have to improve this to fit the simulation which needs physical real cloth.In mechanics,we have enough knowledge in analyseing hull structure.So it is very nature to use mechanics to support our cloth simulation.Finite element and volume cloth model is perfect in deducing the forces of the cloth.But this kind of model is too complicated in calculation to fit the real-time simulation.Particle Model with accurate mechanical formulation solves the force in cloth using Finite Element Analysis,which is much precise than mass-spring model and is comparatively efficient in calculation.Cloth are not always alone in the scene in cloth simulation.In the process of the cloth moving in the scene,we must concern the situation of the collision between the cloth and the object.
