Wireless Mesh network (WMN), a new type of wireless technology, is developing and reaching maturity. Wireless Mesh network is an important technology of the next generation wireless network. Wireless mesh networks are dynamically self-organized and self-configured, self-recovery, with high capacity and efficiency. WMN is a robust network, flexible and adaptable, which has advantages of being a backbone network. By extending the coverage and bandwidth of 802.11 networks, WNMs have been focused on both researchers and enterprises.With the the development of information technology and wide popularization of network, information stealing which aims at the computer system and the computer network, is becoming more and more serious by way of information technology. Compared to wire network, however, they are open to attack for their characteristics of self-organization, dynamic-topology, multi-hop routing and so on. So the security of mesh network is very important. The confidentiality, integrity, facility, and non-repudiation of network security are successfully solved by modern network technology and encryption of cipher system. However, all of these are focus on the information content. Anonymous communications are not considered at the first designing of HTTP, CTP/IP protocols, so the users' identity information and the communication relationship are exposed easily. The attackers can get the communication source, destination, message length, communication time, and frequently by analyzing the datagram. Thus the user's identity are broached and the user's anonymous be destroyed. Anonymous technology is an affective way to protect the users' private information and hide the communication relationship. There is no way to get the communication relationship for the attacker. By this way, the users' private information is protected and the users' demand about anonymity is met.Besides, the mobility of STA in wireless Mesh network and the continuation of real-time business require a higher demand on high efficiency and lower-delaying of the handover process. The delaying of handover process is mainly from authentication. Thus, the requiring of high efficiency and low-delaying authentication is more and more eagerly.There have been some researches on authentication in backbone system home and abroad, and all of these authentication proposals are unable to protect the users' anomy. In this paper, an anonymous communication authentication is researched and designed. In order to building an effective and reliable wireless anonymous communication Mesh network, a wireless Mesh network authentication of anonymous communication is presented. In this way, the users' private information can be protected.Firstly, we introduce the background of WMN, including its features, development and standard draft. Secondly, we analyze the access control and authentication in WMN and the necessity of anonymous communication. Subsequently, the description is focused on the authentication of WMN anonymous communication based on CliqueNet and 802.1X. Finally, we analyze the protocol and make performance simulation for WMN authentication.We can get the conclusions as follow by the simulation results: the protocol of this paper presented can ensure the nodes access the network flexible and efficiently; the authentication proposal we designed shorten the time-delaying and improve the work efficiency ensures the continuity of real-time business.
