With the development of digital video technology, professional video post-production becomes more and more important. Also colleges tend to offer more and more specialized related courses. Video production technology develops and progresses. In the same while, video post-production software get enhanced and enhanced too. So the higher education standards of video post-production is demanded. A more professional requirements turn up to us. Generally speaking, learning transfer is a phenomenon of one kind of study affecting another one, which always happen in teaching practice of various subjects. And in the video post-production teaching practice it is quite more common. Its multiple and influence is apparent, which reminds us the necessity of a thorough study on learning transfer. This article intends to tell how to use learning transfer in a right way in teaching of video post-production and how to avoid the bad impact of it. The method to make the best of its beneficial effects is the core of this article. As learning transfer has various connotations, this article focus on analyzing the transfer of knowledges and skills. And by combining with the post-teaching practice, it will try to find out the specific implementation measures which can be used to promote learning transfer in teaching of video post-production.
