Many practical control systems encounter uncertainties unavoidably. Moreover, time-delays are frequently found in practical applications. For uncertain fuzzy neutral systems with discrete and distributed time delays, this paper investigates the problems of memory state feedback robust control, including robust stabilization, robust guaranteed cost control, robust H∞control and robust H2 /H∞control. Attention is focused on the design of memory state feedback controllers based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. By utilizing Lyapunov stability theory, delay-dependent criteria and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, some delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the existence of the concerned memory controllers are given in terms of LMIs. It should be point out that the given conditions depend on both discrete and distributed time delays.By applying LMI control toolbox in MATLAB, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed methods. Finally, some related research issues in the future are pointed out in the conclusion.
