Neutral system is a kind of Special time-delays system. It is more complicated than common time-delay system and can describe practical problems more precise and more profound. Based on the Lypaunov stability theory, Ito s formula and linear matrix inequality,this dissertation studies the robust stability and H∞control for neutral systems and H∞control and H∞filter for neutral stochastic systems. The main contributions of this dissertation are as follows:(1) The robust stabilization for neutral time-delay system with nonlinear perturbations is considered. A sufficient condition of linear matrix inequality which guaranteed the closed loop system asymptotically stable are established under the condition of bounded gain in which nonlinear perturbations are satisfied.And through designing a memoryless state feedback controller, the problem of asymptotic stability is transferred into the linear matrix inequality problem which can be easily solved by LMI toolbox in Matlab. Numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed results.(2) The problems of H∞control of dynamic output feed back for uncertain neutral time-delay system with distributed delays is investigated. Employing of the theory of Lyapunov stability, a sufficient condition for the existence H∞controllers of dynamic output feedback was derived according to the linear matrix inequality. And the expression of the designation H∞controllers of dynamic output feedback is given. Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the feasibility of the proposed techniques.(3) The problems of H∞control of dynamic output feed back for neutral stochastic time-delay system with distributed delays is studied. A sufficient condition for the existence H∞controllers of dynamic output feedback was derived according to the linear matrix inequality by introducing the free weighting matrix. Furthermore, the expression of the designation H∞controllers of dynamic output feedback is given. Finally this paper a numerical example is provided to show the feasibility of the proposed techniques.(4) The designation problems of H∞filtering for neutral time-delay stochastic systems with multiple time delays are investigated. The sufficient conditions were obtained for the solvability of H∞filter by introducing the free weighting matrix. And the expression of the designation H∞filter controllers is given. At the end, a numerical example is provided to show the feasibility of the proposed techniques by LMI toolbox in Matlab.
