Based On Mpeg-4 Narrow-band Video Transmission Systems

With the social development, social production and all aspects of life are getting higher degree of automation, more fast-paced. Therefore it has become particularly important to use the video transmission technology to gain the key point situation of all types of systems in real time.At present video transmission system is developing at digitization and network. Anywhere the network is connected, the user can complete the remote video surveillance. However, due to the restrictions of network, we must use the narrow-band wireless network for the mobile objectives. It is urgent to research the video data transmission using narrow-band. It also has theoretical and practical significance.Therefore, this paper presents an effective narrow-band video transmission system solution. The system considers ARM9 microprocessor as nuclear chip, loads the embedded Linux operating system for the real-time task, uses the Video4Linux'API to get the video data for the Xvid encoder. Then the standard MPEG-4 data could be transmitted by the system. By using GPRS/ CDMA wireless narrow-band, the system gets into Internet to send RTP data stream with JRTPLIB. At the same time, the control center runs the video processing software, for decoding, playing, saving and more processing the data from the moving targets. The design makes full use of high-speed processing power ARM9 and MPEG-4 standard compression ratio, so that the overall performance of narrow-band transmission system has a good performance in the s stability and real-time. The system can be applied to public transport management, banking, factory production lines and many other places, to form a stable network security monitoring, effectively protecting the user's personal and property safety.
