Based On The Wap Push Ota System Design And Testing

The mobile subscribers are increasing rapidly,the requirements of new communication technologies and mobile phones are higher and higher.The latest developed mobile phones are more intelligent and have more multi-media,which are embedded with advanced processor and installed with browser and rnany kinds of application software in general,such as media player. Although this kind of mobile phones have many functions,the application and software of mobile terminals is becoming complex,maintenance and its cost is much more difficult and higher than before.As the standard communication protocol of mobile Internet application program,the main design target of WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) is to provide one open standard for accessing Internet by Mobile Terminals.WAP provide two access measures-Pull and Push.As the latter technology focuses on the timeliness and accuracy much further,it is cared more and more.However OTA(Over the Air) is the technology transmitted on the air,it enables network operators transmit data to terminals and remote sites by wireless network.On the basis of users and operators requirement,the thesis is about OTA system which is designed and realized basing of WAP PUSH model,which focuses on system designing and testing.Main segments are as follows:Firstly,research and analyze the system structure of WAP protocol,including the basis protocols and programming environment.Secondly,elaborate the design of OTA functional modules and business processing,and explore each functional module and its main technology during system design and realization.Finally,design WAP PUSH OTA test system and analyze the testing result further.At last, forecast the future of wireless update downloading technology.Whatever for network operators or mobile equipment manufactures,OTA technology shows its great charm,and it is consensus to integrate OTA to mobile communication system. The application of OTA updating technology will become more and more widely,not only used for parameter configuration and firmware update,but also has wide range application.All the existing and future OTA services will be more completed and integrated.At the same time with the full implemented of global 3G business plan,mobile terminals will also speed up the development,so this terminal technology is bound to be wide application.
