| After China entered the WTO, competition between service providers has been intensified. Network quality and low cost have turn into critical elements for service providers and also how to introduce new ideas and technologies on current network infrastructure has became the key point thing in service providers'daily work. Now, what service providers care is how to maximize network's potential basing on existing network infrastructure via optimization and integration. It is really the high time to integrate mobile and static network.The goal of network integration is to fully integrate existing resource, improve quality and integrate of the two network effectively and then eventually make WLAN become an excellent supplement of mobile service. As the result, this kind of integration can promote the development of Unicom's CDMA1X and WLAN business. After the effective integration of CDMA1X and WLAN, it will give full play to inherent characteristics of WLAN network to offer users wider bandwidth (at the scope of WLAN coverage) than current 1X does on the one hand; on the other hand, due to the wider range that 1X network, it will reach these areas which WLAN couldn't cover in the past. Meanwhile 1X's perfect authentication and accounting system can make up for the lack of WLAN's abilities on these aspects. In this way, it can not only promote Unicom CDMA1X business development but also promote the spread of WLAN business. Moreover, these two network complement each other to provider users a better performance of mobile internet.In this paper, in-depth study of two basic principles of network systems, combined with the status quo in Chengdu China Unicom network to Chengdu Unicom CDMA1X network to reflect the current network to highlight the issue of analysis and investigation, proposed and implemented a project to meet the actual integration of the two network programs, large enhance the range of network quality, the default program has been through the pilot, get a better result. |
