Web-based Three-dimensional Virtual Space Design And Realization

The development of digital media technology is analyzed in the white paper of digital media technology of China, published by the 863 plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. It said the industry of digital media has the bright future. The cartoon film, digital game, digital video and audio are the main products. Many country and region make police to support the development of digital media technology. Our government has supported the research of digital media.Based on the 3D graphic engine with network, this thesis researches the application of 3D virtual space with network. The thesis finished the following functions of 3D virtual space: looking around the space, arranging the house, inviting friends. The thesis researches the key technology of client based on the C/S computing model, and resolves many problem, such as, optimizing of loading 3D model, visible culling, camera controlling, collision, lights, auto path planning of virtual player, and skinning animation.
