Anciently,the air-communication and nodal equipment had big volume and heavy weight, which is unable to meet the needs of the fighting. So their study of light has become an inevitable trend. Meanwhile, the manufacturing cycle of military communications equipment is long, expensive, and its structural design is also facing many new issues, therefore the traditional design method has been unable to meet its design requirements. In this paper, the CAD technology, selection of light-duty scheme through the database can be easily and repeatedly modified until a satisfactory design of performance an indicator, which developed to effectively save money and shorten the development cycle for military development and is one essential technical.This paper compared the advantages and disadvantages of the direct modulation transmitter and the second frequency transmitter, zero-IF receiver and superheterodyne receiver; from the perspective of light, the design of the project use direct modulation transmitter technology and zero-IF receiver technology. Designed on the soft, adopt the idea of contracted design. From the process use a silicon substrate based on the microstrip array antenna, RF MEMS switches and microstrip antenna arrays of integrated manufacturing technology whose wave band are L/C/X, which effectively reduces the weight and size of the machine. On materials selection, propose using titanium or carbon fiber materials which are different from common materials aluminum-magnesium alloy. Designed on the chassis, adopt the idea of modular design. The project will use many RF connectors, so a variety of models of light RF connector will be proposed selection for users. This paper offers many light-duty schemes for military air communication machine, which is one of innovation in this paper.And then, make requirement analysis for the structural prototyping software, construct the function module of the system, explain the procedure of using this software, construct the systematic database in order to achieve light duty, design the function interface of this software in detail.The next, intensively study the tool of the second development of Pro/ E, namely, Pro/Toolkit application program interface, making clear its feature, programming style, and the operation of application program. Learn thoroughly about the basic method of application and detailly introduce the procedures to compile and link settings. Customize and develope interfaces according to the method of making and activating user's menu in Pro/Toolkit;Later Propose method of stepping agency, realize integrating of structural prototyping software and Pro/E; prove the feasibility of the scheme through testing. This is clicked by another innovation herein.Finally give an example to test the main functions of the software and show easibility on its logic and function.
