This thesis researches and implements a Reconfigurable Automation Calibration System for Instrumentation based on the Test Software Bus. And it is based on the application instance of instrumentation calibration in the institute. The most important character of this automation calibration system is reconfigurable. Nowadays, the investigation of Automation Test System has come into the Next Generation Automation Test System stage. Shortening the system developing period, decreasing the test hours and saving the test cost becomes the most immediate requirements, and the same for instrumentation automation calibration system. Furthermore, the reconfigurable automation calibration makes the software and hardware reuse come true, and also for the interchangeable of instruments. This advantage avoids the repeated development or purchase for software and hardware after the system upgraded or calibration demand changed. And it makes the automation calibration system more agile, reduces the period of developing, and saves the cost. The application of Test Software Bus enables the instrumentation automation calibration system support "plug and play" of reconfigurable function components, and dynamic configuring of service interface, so the system can be reconfigured quickly once the calibration aim or task changed. And it also makes the system can be migrated between different OS platforms, and enables those components which compiled with different languages meet the system, then implements the expansibility of instrumentation automation calibration system.The method of research and design first, then validation is been adopted is this thesis: First, the key technologies of automation calibration system are been studied on. Meanwhile, we designed the reconfigurable automation calibration system both for its software and hardware, considering the special character of the instrumentation automation calibration. Then, the research and design of Test Software Bus was focus on so it could support the design of reconfigurable instrumentation automation calibration system. In the end, a project called Automation Calibration System for Instrumentation was been designed and implemented to validate the reconfiguration of the system, and the result has been analyzed and summarized. Finally we expected the automation calibration system in the future.Reconfiguration exerts the generality and expansibility of automation calibration system in the maximum extent. So it can shorten the period of system developing and the cost. And the application of Test Software Bus in automation calibration system exerts the dynamic reconfiguration ability in the maximum extent, so it can decrease the hours of building a new system and cut down the cost of calibration. The innovation of this thesis is just the application of software bus technology which is a concept in the computer area when developing the Reconfigurable Automation Calibration System for Instrumentation. And it implements the generality and expansibility of automation calibration system in deed. And this character must be the main identity of the Next Generation Automation Test System.
