With the development of computer network, the speed of world informationization is becoming more and more fast. However, the problem of information security impedes this process greatly. The developing of information security software is rather difficult, time-consuming and risky. Security requirements of many applications are similar in a large extent. Hence, the study of security middleware is very important. The theme of this paper is to research the security middleware applied to wireless network, which provide security service to wireless application.Security middleware is a combination of information security and middleware. It shields the complexity of security algorithms in bottom and provides unified interfaces of security services to users. The thesis studies the architectures of some mature security middleware and designs a brand-new security middleware architecture applied to wireless network, which combines feature of wireless network. It also makes detail designation and implementation on application programming interface(API) and shared queue of CSM(Common Security Manager), in which multi-threads and semaphore technologies are made use of. Furthermore, it designs police of security load balance and dynamic weight security load balance algorithm to resolve the problem of over-loading in single server. The implementation makes use of Boost. asio, an open-source network communication C++ library, to improve the efficiency of communication and the robustness of system. It adds log module in the system, which is beneficiary to the debugging and maintenance. It makes use of log4cplus, an open-source log project, to simplify the development. At last, the author develops a test application to test the security middleware, which includes security service interfaces testing, shared queue testing and security load balance testing.Security middleware architecture applied to wireless network and security load balance are characteristics in this paper, but it places extra emphasis on designation and implementation of the system and imports two open-source libraries.
