Based On The Lonworks Intelligent Lighting System Design

With the rapid development of information technology and social progress,the demand on efficient control and various functions of illumination by people is rising, thus the intelligent illumination system comes out. It makes good use of the technology of electronic, communication and computer network and combines different lighting implements to get efficient control and management.This thesis introduces the basic concepts and research status of the intelligent illumination system, analyses the features of the LonWorks fieldbus and brings forward a designing scheme of intelligent illumination system based on LonWorks. The scheme totally considers the needs of the intelligent illumination system which will be used in high shool. This intelligent illumination system achieves many functions, such as illumination auto adjusting, body detecting and remote monitoring. The main jobs are showed as follows.(1) The whole scheme of the intelligent illumination system and the hardware circute for LonWorks intelligent node are designed and described in details.(2) The thesis uses NodeBuilder software which is developed by Echelon company to design language for the LonWokrs intelligent node.(3) The thesis adopts Visual Basic programming language to design the monitoring interface based on DDE technology and builds backstage database of the system with Access database. The users can control the illumination system and inquire the historical information through the monitoring interface.(4) This paper also introduces the way of building LonWorks network, illuminating the tool called LonMaker. Finally the integration of LonWorks and Internet is discussed and realized.The test results based on the laboratory platform shows that the design of the system is correct and reliable, and can meet the basic requirements of the project.
