Laser warning technology is a kind of photoelectric reconnaissance technology with special purpose. It aimed at complicated laser threaten sources from battlefield, it could exact detect laser signal of enemy emission on time and ascertain the direction of incidence, then send out warning. This paper mainly works on principle of the optical fiber arrays directional detection to develop the high-powered laser warning.Digital Signal Processing module is a important module in the optical fiber array laser warning system, which processes the data sampled from the Data Acquisition Board, then we can work out the incident angle of laser, and we use FPGA to achieve the goal. Aims at the defect that the clock frequency of FPGA can not high enough, we make use of FPGA's resource-Phase Lock Loop(PLL),and we can process high-speed digital signal in a low clock. It supplies the important argument support of the optimization design of laser directional detection warning system. All the programs are download to the configuration chip successfully. The periphery circuits such as power supply module, configure circuit and so on have been designed, we also design the PCB layout.The technique of optical fiber time delay directional detection is based on the time difference of transmission in the optical fiber with different length. In order to distinguish the direction of the laser radiation comes from. That is to say the delay time is calculated by analysis and study of the waves of the laser pulse. Then the azimuth angle of laser radiation is calculated. This paper introduces the configuration and the principle of the optical fiber array laser warning system. The method of the techniques of optical fiber time delay was analyzed theoretically, as well as the optical fiber delay directional detection experimental system device was designed which was used to simulate the actual optical fiber delay directional detection warning system. Using the data of experimental result, the azimuth angle of incidence of laser radiation is calculated by the use of the barycenter arithmetic. The experimental data confirm the precision of the directional detection that the system could be attained.
