In recent years, various kinds of advanced aircraft, such as missiles, aircraft, cruise missiles, satellites and so on, in order to achieve greater aerodynamic performance and weapons performance, hoping more and more the electronic equipment (including radar units) they carried be installed on the flight vehicle surface so that the surface of the arrrays coincides with the aircraft surface, forming a conformal arrays antennas. In order to resolve the problem of installing and anchoring as far as possible big arrays aperture antennas on the flight vehicle, using sparse conformal arrays antenna is an excellent and practical technical solutions. Marshalling sparse arrays in the vehicle surface is the effective use of geometric shapes, designing as far as possible big aperture, easier to control the cost's directional antenna arrays, and to reduce the aircraft's own RCS.This article mainly aims at the conformal arrays antennas's foundation----circular arrays and cylindrical arrays antennas, unifying the conformal arrays antennas and the sparse arrays antennas's correlation technique, carrys on the sparse and thin synthesis method and the research of beam forming technology, mainly includes the following several aspects:First, introduces the genetic algorithm and differential evolutionary algorithm's basic concept, principle, algorithm flow and its application; Once more, introduces the array signal's elementary theory and the correlation technique, has inferred the random arrays directional diagram function, carried on the even circular arrays pattern synthesis: the directional arrays elements are to optimize the sidelobe level; utilizes the basic genetic algorithm, carries on the phase-only, the amplitude-only, the phase-amplitude pattern synthesis method to optimize the sidelobe level; Then, has established the sparse even circular arrays optimized model, uses the modified genetic algorithm, the modified difference evolution algorithm and both's union, carries on the omnidirectional and directional arrays elements to sparse the circular arrays elements; Finally, has inferred the even cylindrical arrays directional diagram function, established the optimized model, uses the standard genetic algorithm, carries on the omnidirectional and directional arrays elements to thin cylindrical arrays elements. This article research results may provide technique references for the further research of sparse conformal arrays.
