Research And Implementation Of Embedded Software Reliability Testing Tools

Embedded systems have high dedication degree and relatively small overall inheritance .In order to guarantee the stability of the system, software testing has become an important part of embedded software development. And the reliability is the most important quality index of embedded systems . The reliability testing of embedded software is very important .The software test automation is an important mean to improve the efficiency of software development and assure software quality and reliability .Now by the emergence of a lot of automated testing tools,we can achieve the basic coverage test, and a part of software testing job. It has become an important direction of the field of testing. The test-driven design and implementation is the core and key technology of software automation testing tools .In this thesis, it is focusing on the reliability of embedded software testing tools , the two important aspects of research as follows:1) preservation of test cases. It needs test cases be preserved by XML , then the corresponding XML script file can be getted. Using the third-party tools to drive testing implement and reducing the difficulty of generation and maintenance of the test script. Meanwhile,It only needs to configure new interpretation of the procedures, XML test script can be used for different back-end applications. XML test script language mainly used to describe the activation function name, parameter values and return values.2) implementation of embedded test-driven design of embedded software test tools. Test drive obtain the imformation of test cases through the resolution of the XML document, and generate the appropriate generatation and sending sequence.
