Nowadays,as the construction of information technology developing rapidly, many Enterprises, schools, government offices need to use a variety of Information Management Systems for their daily information management to meet their specific needs. Due to different developing technologies, different database management systems, or the final projects deployed in different platforms, causing in poor extension and interactivity between different Information Systems, which means data sharing, data exchanging, and communicating are difficult, and plenty of resources are wasted.XML-based Web Services technology emerges as the times require. it can effectively support the resources sharing and collaborative working in distributed environment, based on the features of cross platform, loosely coupled, and mechanism of services register and retrieval. But, with the development of Web Services technology, its safety problem is noticed by the industry, and is attached great importance.In order to resolve the services integration and security protection in the distributed environment, This Article researches the characteristics and security needs of Web Services based distributed information platform, giving a solution which contains four models, the first one is services integration and single-sign-on model based on Security Assertion Markup Language Standard, the second one is SOAP security component model, the third one is workflow model, and the last is Web Service implementation model. Service integration and single-sign-on model integrates a certificate authority center in distributed environment to authenticate the user identity and sign the assertion security token, in order to achieve the safe transfer. SOAP security component model contains SOAP message's encryption and decryption, digital signature, and audit trail during the process of information exchange. SOAP security components deployed out of Web Services, made the security services layer and business service layer separated, eliminated the differentiation of heterogeneous platforms. Workflow model provides strong support for the other models, so that all work of the system can be configured as a process. Web Service implementation model deal with the Web Service operation with SOAP security component model. The four models provide a solution of services integration and security authentication in the distributed environment.Finally, the article tests the function and performance of the model, and it achieves the target.
