Ocean Environment Inspection is important that relates to the Economy Build,Society Develop,People Health and Country Safety, it is also one of the key factor that brings along our ocean economy development. With the supporting of the national 863 program , National Ocean Technology Center takes in hand the develop project of the ocean inspection technology production standardization program , the develop production would offer applied measuring apparatus to our national ocean inspection program .This paper mainly introduces the research and design of the data collection part of the ocean station automatic observation system , gives the design idea,the design project,the actualization of the hardware circuit and the software program,and gives the result of the experiment and the application in the end .The ocean station automatic observation system is made of three modules : data collection board,man-machine interface board and data communication board . Data collection board is the core of the system , it is implemented by C8051F120 , it introduces automatic-calibration technology , that is , via a calibration-input channels , it brings two high- precision benchmark signals , then we can calibrate the simulation measure channels , in order to guarantee the precision of the A/D conversion .The ocean station automatic observation system adopts mix programme , adopts project idea of the modularization , it automatically completes data collection,data processing,data memory and data transmission .After the testing , we can conclude that this system is not only can complete the index , but also have the advantage such as low-power,safe,high-currency and so on .
