With the problems of network security becoming more and more serious,the researches for solving these problems are also making greater and greater progress.Now, the methods to solve these problems are no longer limited to those technical fields formed already,such as virus scanning,firewall,intrusion detection,and many kinds of software/hardware encryption techniques.Many experts and researchers have begun to study to solve these network problems to a greater extent from newer aspects.The new secure computer architecture sCPU-dBUS is a research to enhance the network security of computers by improving the architecture of computers.This paper focused on the new characters of the sCPU-dBUS,and studied,designed and realized a new method of process management which supported this new architecture.Firstly,this paper studied the basic theory of dual process-management-unit(short for DPMU).It defines two kinds of user processes—user local processes and user network processes.User local processes run in the local subsystem,while user network processes run in the network subsystem.In order to ensure the independence of the two subsystems,the DPMU adopts two independent process management units to manage these processes respectively.Then,this paper designed a process scheduler,which contained two sub-schedulers.They can schedule processes in their own sub-system.In order to facilitate the switching between two sub-systems,this paper studied dual-kernel switching,and provided users with two ways for switching.And in order to avoid the damage from user network processes,this paper designed some restriction on the interaction between two kinds of processes called user process management mechanism.And then,this paper realized the DPMU based on the MicroC/OS-Ⅱ,which is an open-source operating system.By extending the definition of the PCB,process creation, process scheduler and other operations,the features required in the DPMU were realized.In the end,the DTMU was tested on the mother board of a network computer adopting the sCPU-dBUS architecture.The whole test includes 3 parts,which are designing test cases,testing,and analyzing the results.In the test results,it was showed that the DTMU could support the sCPU-dBUS very well.It could manage and schedule local and network processes respectively and automatically complete the bus switching.
