Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a high resolution imaging method for the inside microcosmic structure of the sample by detecting the sample's interference signals from back direction dispersion light with the broad band lamp-house. It is a new imaging technology coming from the combination of the Michelson interferometer and the confocal microscope. Along with the development of the OCT, traditional OCT systems can not satisfy the need of physical real-time and high-speed detecting and imaging.The purpose of this paper's research is that for the need of faster and steadier OCT, we validate the rationality and feasibility of the high-speed and non-scanning frequency-domain OCT system which advanced and set up by us based on the line-focused mode and imaging spectrometers, and which used the low-cost and high-power LED as lamp-house, research the principle, imaging characteristics, Signal-to-Noise and the methods for eliminating the background noise. The main contents of this paper have:1. Research the principle, imaging characteristics and the SNR influencing factors of the traditional OCT systems, and analyze the components of the system.2. Research the principle and introduce the application of the imaging spectrometer; contrast this instrument with fiber-grating spectrometer; research the FD-OCT; bring forward the combination of the imaging spectrometer and the FD-OCT; Research the light source, light paths design and the adjustment process of the new system.3. Bring forward and set up the FD-OCT based on the Michelson interferometer and line-focused style with the high power LED. This system doesn't need any scanning drive unit and can collect the data of the 8mm width sample in 1ms with the CCD detector.4. Analyze and conclude the optical characteristics of the line-focused Optical Coherence Tomography system and the system's noise; bring forward a new method for eliminating the background noise; Do the experiment with a reflect mirror and a glass slide, use the new eliminating noise method for data processing, the results show the noise is feckly eliminated and prove the system can get the two-dimensional tomographic image without any scanning.
