Beijing Olympic Materials Management System Based On Asp.net Development

The 2008 Beijing Olympic games is coming, the logistics management system ( included four sub-systems of purchase, logistics, storage and assets management ) used by Beijing Olympic logistic team just targets the Olympics village as the terminal, all the work for material management in the terminal need to be handled by manually. Indeed this current system is much suitable for gyms, and the Olympic village aims to provide service for more than 200 representatives, which brings the consequence more complex customer groups, large amount of goods of various categories, large spaces and fast turnover. It is necessary to design a set of material management system which could meet the requirement of efficient and effective operations.Firstly, the current status of materials management used by Beijing Olympic Committee is discussed to analyze the need for the development of the Materials Management System for Beijing Olympic Committee. Based on it, the main functionalities and the core business process of the Materials Management Systems for Beijing Olympic Committee are analyzed. Then, the design of the overall structure of the Material Management System for Beijing Olympic Committee based on ASP.NET is discussed, and the core subsystems such as the Spatial Planning Design subsystem, the Worksheet Management subsystem and the Materials Management subsystem are designed in detail. The analysis is focus on the use of ASP.NET in the Materials Management subsystem and Worksheet Management subsystem. At last, the design of the system is summarized.
