| Generally speaking,there is only one channel in star-LAN named single-star LAN, the most simple form.multi-star LAN has more than one channels which bring greater communications capacity.In order to improve satellite-based network access method,a new famous media access mode named the contention-collision cancellation access mode(abbreviated as C-CC) has been presented.According to the different situations of customers requesting for service,re-requesting for service,and being served,the system model of C-CC can be classified as six types.At present,the studies about C-CC single-star LAN of theâ… st,â…¡nd,â…¢rd,â…£th,â…¤th,â…¥th types have been finished.However,because of difficulties in mathematical analysis,no paper has made any report of multi-star LAN.In order to make innovation for the C-CC access mode,we have to study multi-star LAN deeply.At present,the deep research mainly is concentrated on double-star LAN Recently for the first time the modeling research of Ist type double-star LAN in heavy load conditions has been finish in literature.However,the text of the study of double-star LAN has not fully taken into account the development of current network technology.As result,It considered the case of severing failure when Modeling.In fact,in the past years with the progress of computer hardware and software,the reliability of local area network services has been greatly improved.So in this paper we neglected the situation of failure in double-star LAN services and finish the mathematical modeling and performance evaluation in the heavy load.At the same time we get expressions for the transfer probability of the customers,the Continued retention time of the customers in the system and carry on the simulation for them.This research simplifies the conclusion of the literature.It not only has theoretical value for development of wired star-LAN and wireless star-LAN in heavy load,but also have practicality to performance evaluation. |
