This thesis is about to realize ticketchecking in tourist resort based on embeded system . It discusses the technologies about single board computer and the system of ticketchecking based on Windows CE, an embeded operating system. It is a subsystem in ticketing system of tourist spot. The core is a single board computer(PCM-45) using Windows CE , it is connected with server of selling tickets by Ethernet based on TCP/IP, and it uses model of client/serve compliant for communication. The system realize communication of stream socket in IP protocal. The systm include the main feature ,firstly collecting bar code by using scanner which has a interface of PS/2, secondly sending the codes to the serve of selling tickets for exam through net, thirdly accepting result of the exam and then sending relevant messages to LED screen through serial port, on the same time decode the WAV file which is from local memory relevant to the result, then outputing the WAV data to the audio port..It can save the information of block bar code, parameters of communication, messages of showing, path of audio files and local rules of ticketchecking ect, by using the programming interface of ADOCE. The system uses multi-threading technology in order to raise speed of the system's responding. Importantly this thesis introduce a new means of multi-threading programming in detail. This system has many advantages such as high reliability, compact on structure ,simple on operation, rich functions, strong extendable and universal. Which succed applying avoid inefficiency and loopholes in manual ticketchecking. Could increase the efficiency of ticketchecking ,raise the management level of ticket busniess and spot.
