In this paper the domestic and foreigh present situation of piezoelectric accelerometer,its importance in defence construction and its feature are introduced.Under the background of EPW(earth penetrating weapon),a high-g piezoelectric accelerometer are designed,whose measurement range is 80,000g,and natural frequency is 10 kHz.The dynamics model and mathematical model of the transducer has been established,Analysing the effect factors on the natural frequency and its law,and calculating impulse response by the means of mode superposition method,then some measurement has been made to improve the measurement range and the frequency response.With the nonlinear transient dynamics finite element analysis sofeware Msc.dytran,the acceleration and dynamic stress of the transducer fixed on a missile have been simulated,the dynamic stress of quartz and PZT-8 piezoelectric ceramic have also been simulated with different fixing materials and substrate materials,ensuring the transducer to be secure,responsible and to work precisely in the 80,000g impacting environment,what have done in this paper can offer some technique reference for the design.
