In order to make the college students receive excellent project training, it is important for the process control lab to construct a laboratory with real engineering environment. Combining with the characteristics of automation and correlated majors, a distributed control system for experiment-teaching is designed and exploited, that is the primary researching coverage in this paper.According to the developing trend of process control system and distributed control system, by using liquid level, pressure, temperature and flow device as the controlled object, a distributed control system is developed, which integrates control technology, communication technology, computer technology and display technology. The field control station of MACSV system is used as the controller, together with engineer station software and operator station software, a monitored system is exploited, which has functions of data gather, data show, curve display, alarm surveillance, log display, building report forms and so on. Programming with the configuration software, conventional PID control, cluster control and other algorithms experiments are realized.Taken the liquid level tank device as the researched object, the two-order discrete model of 1# water tank is established by using modeling method of system identification. Using the recursive least squares with forgetting factors method as identification algorithm and adopting pole configuration method as control strategy, a self-corrective PID control algorithm is designed and a experiment-teaching software of self-adaptive control system is exploited.The results of conventional PID control algorithm and self-corrective PID control algorithm in the real system show the developed experiment system has good control performance, it can meet the need of automation's teaching. Besides, the experiment system is a good platform for graduate students and teachers research control algorithms.
