This paper is concerned with the theoretic research about the stability analysis and the design of fuzzy controllers of uncertain fuzzy systems with distributed delays. By the characteristics of distributed delay systems with parameter uncertainties, the problems of stability analysis and state feedback controller design are solved via linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model systems. Firstly, stability of systems with none parameter uncertainties is studied and the desired controllers are designed. Next, the robust control problem is investigated and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the problem are obtained. Considering that parameter uncertainties may appear in designed controllers, the non-fragile control problem is addressed and non-fragile controllers are designed. Via the LMI Control Toolbox and Simulink in MATLAB, illustrative examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods. Finally, some related issues which are worth studying in the future are pointed out in the conclusion.
