The programming and broadcasting of news on TV plays a critical role in technical support of a TV station. Traditional news programming usually takes a long period of time, what is worse; the program processed in this way can not maintain its quality due to excessive duplicating. In recent years, un-linear editing technology are increasingly being widely used in the field of radio and TV. Compared with traditional equipment, the un-linear editing system can actualize entire digitalization without any cost of video quality, what is more, this system enables quick and easy modification as well as highly efficient editing.The un-linear editing technology has achieved great progress through the rapid development of computer and its relevant technology. This paper focuses on a research on network technology, video compression technology, RAID technology, and based on the fact of programming and broadcasting of our channel, we successfully designed a proper broadcasting network supported by un-linear editing system.This paper consists of 6 chapters, the first chapter is an introductory part of the background knowledge, the content and the meaning of this research, besides, it includes the main task of the author and the arrangement of this paper. The second chapter analyzes and researches into the video compression technology, network technology and RAID. The third chapter clarifies the technical bug and safety hidden trouble of original un-linear editing network, and promotes the specific solutions as well as the overall design requirements of new un-linear editing network. The fourth chapter analyzes the detailed designing on each system function modules of un-linear editing network. The fifth chapter optimizes the problems that exist in the system, and also bring forward the specific solutions on the future optimization. The sixth chapter summarizes the content of research in this project, the advantages and practicability of this system, as well as its social and economical benefits created.
